Hudhudo for weekend schools, mosques and Quran circles
By the Hudhudo team · Updated on
With Hudhudo the pupils of your weekend school, mosque or Quran circle practise at home every day, and you as a teacher see what they did. The school takes one subscription; parents pay nothing extra.
A teacher sets a passage of the Quran for the whole class or for one pupil. At home it appears as the task of the day. The pupil recites with the voice check, and you see progress per pupil.
Who is it for?
Hudhudo for schools is meant for weekend schools, mosques and Quran circles in the Netherlands with pupils aged 4 to 12. It suits schools that teach once or twice a week and want children to keep practising between lessons.
- Weekend schools that teach Arabic reading and writing.
- Mosques with Quran lessons for children.
- Quran circles and hifz groups that work with short surahs.
How does it work?
The school takes a subscription, pupils log in with the school code and the teacher sets tasks in the school portal. Step by step:
- The school takes one subscription for its pupils.
- Pupils log in to Hudhudo with the school code and their school details.
- In the school portal the teacher chooses a surah and verses, for the whole class or for one pupil, with a due date.
- At home the pupil sees the teacher's task as the task of the day, with a progress bar.
- The pupil practises and recites with the voice check, which compares the recitation word by word with the text of the verse.
- Per pupil, the teacher sees how many attempts there were, how many verses were passed, the best score and whether the task is done.
What does the school get?
Every pupil gets the full Hudhudo, and the school gets a portal to manage classes and follow progress. An overview:
| Part | What it is |

| Login | With one school code; pupils do not need their own paid account. |
| School portal | Manage classes and groups through the separate school web portal. |

What do parents notice?
For parents, their child's account is free through the school. They do not need to install anything: Hudhudo runs in the browser on a computer, tablet or phone.
- No extra cost for parents.
- No ads and no chats with strangers.
- Parents who have their own Hudhudo parent account receive a weekly email report when their child was active that week.
